The fx01 turns out to be functionally ir senstive. Not as much as the fz1/2 but it does have potential. For those who already have the fx01 and are interested ininfrared photographyit would be beneficial to invest in a hoya r72 ir filter for $30-40 and test the waters. See http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=23for the adapter setup used for these shots.

FX01 w/ hoya r72: iso100, -1.33 ev, 1/3.2s, f2.8, wb set through filter, resized only

Same with levels adjustment in ps6

Same with levels adj and channel swap

FX01 w/ hoya r72: iso80, 0 ev, 1s, f2.8, wb set through filter, resized only

Same with channel swap (no levels)

#4 & 5 looks like one of our bayou scenes on a 35mm negative. Very nice. How doed the IR filter fit on the FX01?
