Thank you Raghu, MacNite, KKlaus andBayourebel for your encouraging comments. I really wish I could just sit down with you all and take some classes. Haha :-)I've seenyour work and love it. I hope that with getting brave enough to post like this, I'll be able to somehow absorb camera-wisdom and knowlege from more experienced photographers such as yourselves. Especially those with an FZ's similar to mine. :-)

KKlaus, that's great that you were able to get theEXIF-data. I will go back and try the new settings.I justlike a nice sharp picture, and I tend to prefer the drama of contrast but I realize this isn't necessarily the best settings for a good photo.

I so appreciate all your comments and support. I'll keep trying. Thank you.

Teree

OH! How do you get the EXIF-data on someones picture if you want to see what settings they used?

For morte serious (higher magnifications) spiders macro you must at least find a Nikon 6T or 4T or a similar diopter.

That's argiope lobata (araneidae), not crab spider (thomisidae).

Thank you Narmar,

I'll be looking into lenses one day and keep that in mind. Also, thank you so much for the name correction on the pseudo crab spider. Sorry for the miss naming. Glad someone out there knows the real names of all these little guys. :-)

Thanks for looking and commenting,

Teree
