I had to clone out my broken down lawnmower in the cardnal shot. How did I do? Suggestions welcome.

I had fun watching this little qround squirell fighting with the grackle. The grackle won but no harm done.

The squirrel/grackle shot is cute. The clone job on the cardinal looks good to me. Nice photo.

Nice shots Don. I would have cropped No 1 a little more but maybe I would have lost the setting.

What is a grackle?

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment guys.

Fred,

A grackle isa large, very obnoxious , very loud, black colored bird that gathers in the thousands in the evening, just before sunset to roost. If you are unlucky enough to have a tree they like, you will not get much sleep at night, and you can't run them off. They constantly squawk and fight all night long. I'm really surprised the ground squirrl did not get seriously hurtwhile standing up to the one in the photo. You are lucky not to know what they are. By the way, don't even thing of parking your car any where near the tree or area they are gathered in. Did you get the idea I don't like them?

Looking at the cardinal photo now, I wonder why I did not crop closer myself>

Don
