Here are some pictures taken with my FZ30 as I have been learning how to use it. This little squirrel came to us shortly after the hurricanes that swept through FL. She is incredibly sweet and I wonder if possibly she was a rescue that had been released back into the "wild." She visits us frequestly and I just love taking pictures of her.

Please enjoy, and if you have any suggestions, please feel free. :-)

This is one of my first pictures of her. We were going for a walk, and as I looked back she was peering around the tree as if to say, aren't you going to give me some peanuts before you go?

Great series! I live in a neighborhood with no mature trees and privacy fences. In three years there I have only seen one squirrel in my yard.

Thank you Redstickman, bayourebel, annie57 and KenJ for viewing and for your encouraging words.:-)

Redstickman, when I was little, the only place we saw squirrels was at the park by the library. Now we have a whole clan of them living in our neighborhood. ha ha.

Bayourebel, thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed my captions. Reading them a second time I wasn't sure if they might be a littletoo corny. :lol:But then, maybe that's part of the "charm."

Annie, you are absolutely right about her being like an outdoor pet. She actually sits on my hand to eat a peanut! It took some time to gain that trust but now I can rub her a little behind her ear while she nibbles away. But the minute she's done she's hunting another nut. :-)

KenJ, I appreciate your comments on 3 & 4. I'm so glad to know that I'm headed in the right direction. Thank you for the thumbs up on those two.
