Having decided I need to digitise some 400 old Kodachromes I am looking for the easiest and cheapest solution.
I cannot justify buying a film scanner.
I am not aware of any slide copier attachment which will connect to the front of my FZ30 so the cheap and fast option is to use a slide projector and my FZ30 to photograph the projected image.
Has anyone tried this, or can you suggest a better way?

cheers,

Max

I have never tried this but you can find slide copiers for Fuji cameras and I think they take 55mm filters so Why would that copier notfit the FZ30.

I have seen them on Ebay for 50 bucks.

Perhaps if you lived near a good camera shop they may have what you need.

Thanks for the link Gene. The copier gadget looks like the way to go.

Today I tried the projector method and while it works and is quick, its never going to produce quality results. Too much detail is lost and focus is hard to maintain.

cheeers,

Max

Photosolve says they have a attachment for the FZ30 they call it extend a slide....but I had a difficult time trying to find a price, in fact I could not find the price.
