Thanks, Redstickman. We have several pair of Inca Doves here for about three years. I will look to see if I have a photo of when I first saw and identified them. They are quite smaller than the other doves.
Took these with an Oly C-700. Found it in a folder dated 12/2003. I did some level and sharpening in PE4. Probably too much. This was our first visit of them and I have seen them since.

Great Pics. Here in the Central Valley we have the Mourning Doves. There have been times I have been able to get within a couple feet of them. I need to replace my feeder; it is placed so I can just stand at the window in my family room and take shots from there, expecially since I have the TCON 1.7. RedStickMan: I recently read somewhere that the noise they make when flying away has to do with the design of their wings and feathers.
