Well I recieved my new Sunpak383 flash this week, but there haven't been any interesting subjects to shoot. So i have been getting the hang of the Flash by shooting flies.

All shots were taken with the DCR-250 stacked with the +3 lens from the DCR-5320. The flash was mounted on a Delta 1 Flip Flash Bracket II, and triggered with a Wein Hot Shoe Digital Slave. The bracket works well because you can position the flash wherever you want it, but the whole setup is really heavy.

Very nice, well done and I can't think of another statement right now, saying how nice those shots are! I'm trying to learn and do macro phrotography and these shots really give me something to shoot for.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm still just learning, but Im having alot of fun with this.A couple of months ago Icouldn'tget a shot with the DCR-250 handheld. Looking at the wonderfulmacro shots of other members on this forum really helpedand showed me what was possible. Now I just need to find some more interesting subjects to photograph.

Although, as you have stated the subject is a lowly fly, I find the first two picsexceptional in composition and sharpness. I also find the flash to work quite well without overexposing the picture. Nicely done.

I'm interested in buying the sunpak 383 flash. Any info in your flash andbracket setup (pictures if possible) will be appreciated.
