I have a question...If you are just interesed in starting macro photography, are you better to start with a Raynox 150 or 250? they seem to be the same price on ebay! I would be an absolute beginner in this area of photography!!! Thanks for the suggestions!!!!

I have the 250, and like it a lot - it's a very good lens. However it has extremely low depth of field and can be a bit tricky to get good results with, especially if you're new to macro photography. Perhaps start with the less-powerful 150, get used to it, then consider the 250 later on.

Doug: I see that you are from Canada as am I. Did you buy it in Canada or on ebay? I have seen it locally ranging from $70-$80. Thanks

Annie, I bought mine in person at my favourite camera shop on Montreal, Simon's Cameras.

The official Canadian Raynox distributor is Edma Photo Marketing in Markham, Ontario - might be worthwhile contacting them instead of buying on eBay.
