Few macro pictures taken the last week or so. The wasp landed on my tripod and "allowed" me to come really close, the last picture it turned nasty on me.

The Fly: I was surprised to see the fly attack another type offly and started feeding.

FZ30, 6T+Canon 500D- tripod, resize only.

Comments welcome.

Enjoy

Emmanuel

Bloody close images! detailed and plenty of depth to see lots of the insects.
Is that fly sucking out the brains of that other one!!!!! that last shots shows its head fell off!

You are using a 6T only? how much are they? as I want one now looks better than my Raynox 150 thats for sure.

Romerojpg, thanks for viewing and commenting. I was shocked to see a fly attack, kill and eat another fly, I thought theysuck-up liquids only!

The pictures were taken with a Nikon 6T (+2 diopter) and Canon 500D (+3 diopter) stacked together. The quality of the two lensesis excellent as is the Raynox. I was concerned about stacking lenses from twodifferent manufacturers vignetting, softness, etc. but so far I amvery pleased. Nikon has stopped producing the 6T, but you could buy the 3T and 4T. They are priced appr. US$ 90-100.
