Long time no post. I am home on the Big Island spending time with my Dad who is not doing very well healthwise. I grabbed my FZ1v2 this time to take some IR shots.

I used my car for "white balance". The only thing I did to these is resize, and sharpen. All shots, handheld.

Sorry to hear your Dads not in good health, wish you and your family all the best.

Love your IR shots. No.4 & 5stand out for me.

All the best

Steve

Mahalo Plenty for your comments for my Dad.

After three days of rainy and dreary weather the sun finally made an appearance and it was too bright for me to use my dSLR. I am glad I grabbed my FZ1v2 and dusted it off. fmoore and kman620 got the bug going again with their posts.

The plam trees come out nice. I like number #3 best. I assume your car is white and that's the reason you set the white balance on it. I find it works best to set the wb on the green foliage or grass. Through the ir filter, of course. Are you using the hoya r72?

Thanks Fred,

Yes the car is white. I will try the grass for white balance today and yes, it is the Hoya r72 filter.
