I saw teh post while at work but couldn;t reply straight away. Some excellent shots there - the first one is pretty special but so is the two dragon flies!

seemolf: thanks for the enlargement...the colour and the detail you are able to bring out in the bugs is beautiful!!!!...even to the detail on the stick they are on...thanks again!!!!

annie it is the head of this (feeding) dragonfly.

One of the biggest flying around here: Aeshna spec.

thanks for the new posting....the colours of your dragon flies are unreal....beautiful shots....dragon flies surely are bugs that look like they are from another time and place!!!!
