Long Legs & Laying Down

One cute critter trying to figure out this lay down thing. The Elk were in the shade trying to stay cool.

Mom said you need to pick a good spot before you lay down for a nap.

Ok, time to balance and not fall sideways. Why did I get such long legs?

On the ground. Now to get straight and look good for Mom.

Looook Mom I did it just like you.

Very nice series, Roger. Did you do that in burst mode? I need to try that when one of my large pigs (horses) decide to roll in the dust or mud.

Hi Jerry, thanks for the kind words.
My camera has never been off burst mode. The fact is I don't know if it even works other than burst mode.

Hi HarjTT, thanks for the nice comment.

Probably the best answer to your question is very slowly. It was diffulcult to not start laughing out loud. I wanted to but I didn't want to scare them so I held back the laughter.
