After several hundred attempts, finally got a fairly decent one, but no prize winner.

Bayourebel--ONLY a suggestion. Your shutter speed is right on. Exposure is too much and the subject , the bird, has too much competition. In picasa I applied some shadows and then sharpened also cropped. By now you can tell I am no whizz bang PP wizzard. If you like it, good , if not thats OK too.

Everyone, thanks for the comments and critique, these rascals are hard to capture, as they move very fast, only still for a moment.

Dwssas, thanks, yours PP Looks better than mine. As much as I love to feed the birds and take photos, my time is spread amongst all my other interests, horses, gardening, some carpentry, and other menial labor things that I dearly love. I know some would find that hard to believe, but I would rather shovel horse poop, than manage 13 to 20 people again.

Nice ones Jerry....Suprised at the relatively slow shutter speed. I know nothing about high speed captures but I thought Hummers would need the maximum. You have proved not.

I think I prefer your original shot to dwssas's sharpened version. But that is a personal preference
