Just wanting someone to provide a shot with each snap on and show how much power the 250 has over th 150.

Should not be too hard, or is it :-) just pick something and go as close as you can with it, be that insect or whatever as I am going to get the 250 soon I think and just want to see what I wil be getting in terms of maginifcation.

Here is a comparison of the magnification of the DCR-150 and DCR-250. I also added the DCR-250 plus DCR-5320 combo that I have been using lately.

If you click on the picture it will take you to my flickr page and you can view the full size image.

Interesting, that 5320 isnt as much of a magnifcation as I expected.
What are Diops exactly?

Diops=Diopters

Diopter is a unit of measurement that describes how powerful a lens is.

The DCR-5320 is actually 2 lenses a +3 diopter lens and a +2 diopter lens, when you use both lenses it is+5 diopters, with a little more magnification than a DCR-150. I have been stacking the +3 diop. lens with the DCR-250 for a total of +11 diop. It isn't a huge difference but it is noticable at full zoom.
