Inspired by pics posted by others, I tried my hand at insects in flight. A few shots..

Here the insect (I don't think it is a bee) is not flying, but I liked the wayit posed. In all these pics, the flower is the holy basil, a very tiny flower. The insect itself is smaller than the housefly.

Nice series, Raghu. I find it hard to get in flight focus, as the subject keeps moving...:?

Hi Raghu, very nice, but my favorite is #1, the background is so creamy and the flower and bee such sharp relief...donna
