Hi Per,

It's a real pleasure to see such crystal clear, well composed pictures. My favorite is number one followed by number three. As far as the lens goes.... you know my sentiments!

I assume that you used a software to process the pictures, what did you do? Also, I see you used your flash, is it the on board flash of the cameraor an external flash?

Thanks for sharing,

Emmanuel

Thank youRaghu!!

Hiand thanks Emmanuel! All these photos are taken in a simple manner; just handheld in the bushes and actuallyno flash though I was careful to use the sun light properly.
The PP standard routine is currently to crop(if needed), resize (to fit here),brightness&contrast(most often just a raise of contrast) and finally Neat Imaged including a sharpening. Just now Ilike the outcome of that specific PP sequence, next month it might contain something else ;-)

Congratulations, great shots, espec. # 1 and 3.

maybe the latter isnot the same species as the one in my post (Argo or Icarus?) but a Bellargo (Lysandra bellargus); all these areLycaenidae BF.

Thank you Tiger and Narmer! I thought it wasa Common Blue (which in latin is the Icarus) but honestly I can't tell the difference from a Bellargus... :?hmmmm, this is really not my area of knowledge...
