Default Not a Panasonic But You Might Be Interested

it is exciting, but i'd be more interested if it used interchangeable lenses, or at least a good quality fixed zoom lens.

It looks like the word from Photokina is that the Fuji X100 will run about $1000 in the U.S. and 1000 euros in Europe. Sure, cheaper is always better but I think it'll be a winner at that price point. Yes, I'd love an interchangeable lens version. But I could still go for the camera the way it is. I shot for years with a totally manual Minolta XRT-200 with a single 50mm, f/2.0 Rokkor-X lens. It didn't hold me up much. That kind of simplicity and thoughtful shooting is still very appealing to me.
