Default Bag for GH2 and multiple lenses

Never had a fancy bag before. My FZ18's home has been a cd bag with a rag on the bottom

My thought is to have a main bag that will hold the GH2 with a zoom attached. Not to big and bulky.

But then also need something that would hold other lenses, say another zoom and some primes, that can easily and securely be attached to the main bag as needed.

That way I am not forced to lug all the lenses around if I don't need them.

If there was a camera store nearby with a large assortment it would be easy, but it looks like I gotta do this online.

Ideas appreciated.

I use this CaseLogic sling when I want to carry all of my equipment. Holds my GF1 with 300mm plus spare lens and still room for few more things. It also has straps for attaching a tripod. It's not bulky and lays close to your body, and completely frees your hands (this is key for me). It also swings forward easily so you never had to remove it to access pockets. I guess the only negative is that it's not for storing your camera equipment at home.

Yeah, I like the hands free.

And it doesn't look like a purse so that's a bonus

Gonna check it out, thx.

OK, liking that one a lot.

My concern is: I have the 14-140mm and 100-300mm with me and put the 20mm on the camera. One of the zooms can go in the side pocket but I'm not sure if there's a space somewhere for the other zoom.

Question. How much space is left under the camera w/ 300 attached and it's hanging in the hammock?

I will check it out when I get home tonight and get back to ya. I don't remember!

I'm a female and this isn't too big on me (which I like). It came with an extra security waist strap, but I cut it off. It's also on sale on Amazon.

Here is what I measured. When I put my camera with a 300mm lens in the "sling", it fills that pocket. My 300mm is approximately 7 inches long, so the space between the sling and the bottom of the pocket is approx. 7 inches. The side pocket will easily fit the 300mm lens (7 inches). This side pocket is about 9 inches long.

Then, there are still 2 small pockets remaining, for car keys, etc.

Does this help?
