And very difficult to find right now. eBay is probably your best bet...it will cost you over $600.

Chiquito,

Why don't you just go with the 14-42 and the 20mm f/1.7 as your primary lenses? That makes a nice 2 lens kit.

We're all trying to account for the 14mm f/2.8 that you have, that you don't really need. All I'd use it for are outdoor/landscape/nature shots, but having the 14-45, I'd seldom use it. Sell it or swap it.

If you have a 14-42/45, 20mm f/1.7 and a 45-200, there's not much you can't do with a Panasonic m4/3.

I just noticed that Panasonic has a wide angle, macro, and fisheye conversion lenses for use with the 14mm f/2.5 lens.

Assuming they are decent and reasonably priced, that would make the 14mm a lot more interesting to play with.

I just noticed that too. But they seem very pricy!

I'm still deciding between the 14-42mm and the 14-45mm. I obviously like the 14-42mmo price but all the things I've read about the 14-45mm been of better quality makes me lean towards it. I'm just dealing in my mind if it would be good for me to spend the extra money or not. Right now I'm looking at places where they sell used ones to see if I could get a good deal.

That sounds like a good idea. With the short telephoto, then you can cycle through the various aspect ratios and Extended Zoom features and really see what the camera can do.

You might be surprised how much you can do with that lens.

Get a little Slik Mini II tripod and just sit down and go through all the features one by one. It's hard to believe how many variations there are with the film and scene modes added in. You might not need any other lens.

Good Luck.

PS: The 14-42 is at $119 right now at Amazon US.

If I were you I'd get the 14-42mm and use the rest of the money toward the 45-200mm.

Ok guys I just ordered it. It was J&R who had the lens at 119 but they do not deliver Amazon sales to Puerto Rico. So I call them directly and they even matched the lowest amazon price of $115. So I made a deal of 115+10 for shipping. Thanks for all your advices. I will keep you posted on what me and daughter think about the camera and lenses. I hope they both arrive SOON!!!!

Well, I'm glad that works out for you. J&R is good reputable company, here in the States.

Now just watch the prices of Panasonic. Here in the US, the prices swing drastically. They can go down to about 60% of actual retail and then suddenly skyrocket overnight.

The 45-200 was down to @$179 a week ago and now it's @$279.

Good Luck.
