Default Conversion Lens for Lumix 14mm

Hi guys. I bought an used wide angle conversion adapter DMW-LW46 that fits the Lumix 14mm lens. It looks cool and it does the work. My complain is that is heavy 5.3ozs vs 2.5ozs from the GWC1 that is the one made specifically for the 14mm. Other thing is that with my GF-3 it creates a shadow on some pictures taken with flash because of the bigger size I guess. Can any one that had used the GWC1 with a GF-3 let me know if the flash shadow is also present with that combination?

I don't have or use either, nor the GF3, so I don't know what to suggest.

If the converter is blocking the flash, the smaller might help, but the flash itself might not spread wide enough to prevent the shadowing anyway.

I'd be happy to have a bargain wide angle, and never consider using the flash.

You could search at Dpreview, but I don't recall anyone even mentioning the new converter, except for some difficulty when mounting.
