Optio S4 zoom focus

Hi every one!

Does anyone have a focus problem when using the optical zoom from half to full?
When I use the optical zoom, f3.5 and above the camera doesn't focus on the infinite, and i can't get clear fotos with the landscape focus mode turned on. I have always to select manual focus so the camera can get good pictures. This happens when the subject is more than 3m away from the camera (or when the focus has to be infinite).
Anyone tried this yet?
