Especially at landscapes the pictures taken are often underexposed, especially when there are high contrasts. Has anyone an idea how to fix this problem?

I always used the automatic (P) mode

Hi ciwi,

Have you put your settings to AE Spot measuring and infinite mode? I think particularly spot measuring could improve this contrast situation.
If this does not help, you can still treat it on the computer.
