    Default pentax optio S digital camera
    I cant seem to transfer my pics to any computer through the USB cable other than my own laptop which has the software installed. I am not sure if there is a special mode that i must choose in the camera to allow me to do that. please help!

    If it's anything like my Nikon, you have to have the software installed on the computer you are trying to download to. However, the computer should recognize the camera as a removable drive. you should be able to copy the files from the camera to the computer, just like between different drives.

    i have the same problem with my optio s i can't copy the pictures in the computer
