Quick tips for hockey arena shots with 555?

Just bought a Pentax Optio 555 and loving it.

I borrowed a friends Nikon 5000 for awhile and found it too intimidating for a smart computer guy but... newbie photographer.

Anyways, I've had great results inside and outside with the 555 but white ice and average flourescent lighting inside hockey arenas is giving me problems.

I'd like to set a USER setting especially for these shots once I find the magic settings.

Has someone come up with the right combination of setting for this enviroment?
