Wow! Fantastic collection! I thought I had a lot of lenses, but I'm not even close, that is amazing. Now do you have a pack to carry them all in so if you're out you don't have to worry that you don't have that 'one lens' with you?

Steve, I have 3 suitcase type bags to carry at least 3/4 of them along on trips.

Phew! I know they were many, after your posting new aquisitions one by one (or two/three). But this is really impressive, BD. Like thkn777 I'm a bit curios about the Vivitar Series 1 85mm f/1.4 P/KA, can't remember that you posted anything about it.

incredible collection! I actually consolidated on my twenty some lenses recently, and i thought THAT was alot. I'm down to about 12 or so now, if I had this many to pick from I'd have an extremely hard time learning all these lenses. Thanks for the post! Keep on collectin'
Also, with a collection this big, your wife wouldn't even notice another five, ten, or twenty thrown in the mix! |

I've been working 7 days a week lately and have not had much time to post all my new acquisitions Kjell. I will try to rectify that this week end if time allows. The 85mm 1.4 goes by many names. It is a Bowers, Rokinon, Samyang and Vivitar Series 1 as well. Very sharp lens but manual focus. It is an A lens but the MF puts a lot of people off.

I was wondering what kind of suitcase bags you use. I currently use a Tamrac Expedition 9X backpack as well as a Tamrac 612 shoulder bag to carry a lot of my gear and then work out of smaller holster type bags when I get where I'm going. I've been thinking of switching to something else for transporting my lenses and had been looking at suitcase roller bags, my guess is if you can get most of that kit of yours in 3 bags they must be big ones!
