Default Tamron drops the K-Mount

I don't know if this is already widely known, but Tamron doesn't offer K-Mount lenses anymore.

I was considering Pentax as an eventual alternative to my Sony A77 II. I rely on my Tamron 17-50/2.8 (the unstabilized one, which is far superior to its stabilized one) for much of what I use the Sony for, but had been constrained by the electronic viewfinder, and Sony has made it obvious that they are dropping the A-Mount in preference to its mirrorless products, so I wanted to avoid being painted into a corner. I checked with Tamron on Facebook and they responded saying that they no longer make anything for the K-Mount. That's unfortunate because its 17-50/2.8 is a perfect combination with IBIS.

G'day TCav

As mentioned elsewhere ........ wotta-bugga
But as glass is claimed to maintain its quality 'for years'
Q- do you still have a wide choice for pre-loved lenses?

Has Lumix mirrorless & superzoom cameras and loves their amazing capabilities
Spends 8-9 months each year travelling Australia
