I am looking at two different lensesy. The Sigma 28-105mm f/2.8-4and Sigma28-135mm f/3.8-5.6 Macro. I really like the 1:2 Macro feature on the 28-135, but I am tempted to go for the speed. Would SR make up for the f-stop lost by going with the slower lens?

There's $28 dollars difference in these lenses, the faster lens costing more. Both come with originalfront/rear lens caps, but the 28-135mm is missing the hood.
