Roy the wife convinced me to try selling it first then convert it if it doesn't sell. I think she is getting tired of having 2 or 3 lenses torn apart on the dinning table. LOL Either that or she wants her precision screw drivers back....We actually had a tug of war over her eraser. LOL

i get half the profits.. lol

i've got a small study with a 3'x5' drafting table in it. it's always flat like a table tho. i've also got 3 nice sets of screw drivers. hey, it's my room. well, except for the computer and the quarantine dog crate. it works. she has her sewing room as well.

Yep it has a lever on it now, it looks a bit primitive but it works, no 'clicks' though!

this thread and others?????
i've never seen this kind of dialog when i've read some C & N forums. it really seems that the pentax crowd will work around a problem, modify it, don't give a s&it if it's old. a ''let's just do it'' outlook.

i've enjoyed this thread. screw um. oops

Yes Roy I use a screw mount too. If I ever get some of my lens sold I'll be looking for some ultra cheap but good ones in a mount that isn't being used. The old SLR teleconverters are a good source of mounts to be transplanted to some of those old lens.

An idea hit me as I was making the extension tubes...The screw pattern for the Focal 2X I gutted to make the tube is the same size and spacing as the Yashica contax lens mount I modified to K-mount dimensions. You should be able to dismount the K-mount from the Focal tele and remount it to the Yashica. ..Be a quick way to re-do a lens to K-mount with out spending much time or money in the process...HMMM More work to do.
