Guys, save your money on these tubes. They're total junk. I bought a set. They attached to the camera just fine, but I almost never got my lens off the first time I attached. They now have an honored place in my trashbag.

Thanks for being the guniea pig trojansoc, sounds like a situation that would have sent me into a screaming rage. Did you mutilate the thing after you freed your lens?

Is that the same one you tried and had to put down, trojansoc? They look very basic, no contacts or the like in the image.

Roy, I know a guy who has a set of those, and they're definitely not linked, he uses them OK, but cant stopdown until after he's focussed, not much use handheld. ... Jack

that's the problem with macro. you need that small ap. there's a set on ebay right now for a kenko model . i ask and he said they were linked and also AF. he's suppose to post a pic of the bare mount tonite.. this set would be ideal.. they go new for 150+usd retail.

this is the set i was talking about
HERE
he did add pix to show the mount. WOW, AF, and metering too.
i know the reserve is higher than $50.06 as that's what i bid on them..
this is a sweet item.. wish they were sitting with my kit..
