Congratulations Alex. That's a great deal, and it does better than I'd expect for a super zoom type lens. The bokeh is better than I'd expect for that type of lens, too.

The only quirk I didn't like was some Purple Fringing in one of your shots at 200mm with the aperture wide open at f/5.6. But, some of that looked more like CCD blooming versus Chromatic Aberrations.

$20, huh? That's pretty sweet.

It's nice hearing from you, my dear Jim,

Yes really I'm extremely happy for my "Grant deal" only the the closest focus is 2.10 meters, which sometimes disturb me...as the 18-250mm Tamron for my lovely KM 7D focus from 0.45cm, making an a great difference...

During meantime, here is another example of how good is my got it exemplar, also from today!

Jim...do it!

Trusting that all of you will love it...

Peace,

Alex 007:|

That's a little large to display here.

Try downsizing it to around 720 pixels wide and that usually works well in the forum posts. That way, members with lower resolution displays can see it OK without scrollling back and forth.

Hello Folks,

Today I shoot a few more flowers/leaves from my garden...the unique difference is that waitng for get the "Step Down" ring from 72mm to 62mm, from an a lovely member in this forum also a Pentax owner & fan, I change the got ir "Cheap" (For me...of course Cozo) UV filter with an a 3mm thiner "Hama" C-14 one with in total 14 MC layers...7 on each side of the all glass filter, but...really among us...HARD to assure you 100% that I saw any differences between the received Cozo (NO coated at all!) & this one very expensive German one...you will decide or maybe see some differences???

First photo an a young Rose! as always wide open at 5,6 200mm focal length & sadly cropped!

Peace,
