Hello my dear Pentaxians owners & fans,

Yesterday I acquired a new German brand "Hama" UV ultra thin Super Multi Coated with 7 layers SMC coating of each side of the filter...they named it "Wide...maybe designed for ultra wide angle lenses...it's possible + a Tamron 62mm lens cap which alloy me to withdraw it pressing two centrally located tabs easily from my large rubber lens hood...only don't ask me WHY...

Cost me these two items 5 times more that I paid for my "Keeper" lens...:?

Today I check the combination...& make a few snaps...one I want to share with you...yes is true that I don't find yet...any "Dramatically"..., differences among the photographed one here at this forum with the new expensive one...but makes me fell good...& that is important...:-)

Hope that you will like it as I do...:!:

Peace,

Alex 007:|

I had the lens and it was a bit soft for me with film, but it is a much better digital lense because you are only using the very center of the glass, so they become very nice film like images.

Hello my dear Dawg,

Yes it's at our age imperative to loosse weight!

BTW...I want to post to all of you Pentaxians lover... a twice PP photo first with the obsoleted Raw converter "Raw Shooter Essential 2006 1.2.0 Ver; 68" & after that again with my lovely Picasa photo organizer. yes it's NOT snapped with my Pentax but with my KM 7D (Such raw converter don't recognize Pentax K10D!)...it's so new & now is named "Lightroom" as was acquired during middle 2006 by Adobe...pity! For me is the MOST easy & comprehended Raw Converter (On the FREE ones!!!), that I meet!

Dawg...what you say about it...:?

Cheers,

Peace,

Hello Folks,

So...maybe this will be my last photo using my "Sleeper" Tamron zoom lens...as during a few more days, I will receive my "Last"!!!:-) Pentax lens...in this case a SMC-A 50mm "Manual Focus!, one, from the very small added photo seems me a 1:1,4 one.... All of you will see my attached photo next day that got it, together with a NON working film body from the same epoch that such lens. As the body is NON working we both (The seller & Me), agreed that I must check "IF"...the body can be repaired here in Israel...:blah: (Among us...I want ONLY the lens...the body will be trashed/scrapped!:idea. But for pay less I need to continue with my "Comedy"...assuring him that the body is "Imperative"!!!:G.

Any input as always is ample welcomed!

Peace,

Alex 007:|
