Hmmm, the essential strategy here is volume. No matter what you collect, if you get enough of them, the spouse can no longer keep track of what you have and what is new.

Of course, the same thing applies to her rubber stamps and scrapbooking supplies. I guess we are both enabling ourselves into bankruptcy!

well when you introduce a 12'', 6'' diameter(with hood that never comes off)lens into the pack, it's kinda hard to keep it low key.. first thing she said was, 'what's the difference between this and that one'', refering to the 500/4.5.. i'm just so happy i don't have to worry about any of the new or older fast 300mms that are available.. i've got my fast 300. i'm still undecided which of2, 300/4 , that's going..

Just over at pentaxforums and I guessed right - you are going to sell off the A*300. I figured that's the way you would go.

yeah, i hate the tak for it's min18' close focus but it's time for the A to go. the tak is also lighter. there won't be many times that the tamron will not be used.

Yep, I consider myself to be one of, if not the luckiest guys in the world. I can't imagine life without her or our 2 great sons.
