Hmmm, the essential strategy here is volume. No matter what you collect, if you get enough of them, the spouse can no longer keep track of what you have and what is new. Prior to my interest in photography I collected vintage firearms. It has been many years since my wife could tell what I already had and what was new; and many years since she had any interest in even trying to tell them apart.

Of course, the same thing applies to her rubber stamps and scrapbooking supplies. I guess we are both enabling ourselves into bankruptcy!

$5400??:? $5400???:? I almost had a coronary when my wife spent $3500, (her 3rd sewing machine). And she had the nerve to ask me this morning why I thought it necessary to by the Pentax K10. Good thing I still love her after almost 40 years together.:-)
