Hey guys, I'm heading to Grand Cayman shortly and I want to pick up a wide angle lens to go along with my kit lens and my 80-200. I searched ebay for "Pentax wide angle" and got plenty to choose from. I could use a little help with what to look for and what to stay away from. I want something decent but don't want to break the bank either. Is under $100 asking too much? I have a Samsung GX-10 (K10D)

Cheers,

Nix

About the only wide-angle lens in your price range is the Zenitar 16mm.

KEH appear to have a used one and I've seen a couple for sale in the USA, including on eBay.

Hmm... my reply might be a little late but just in case someone asks the same question in the future, there is also Tokina 17mm/f3.5 (manual focus, manual aperture) which is quite sharp but not good with flare control. I got my copy just a little over $100 mark.

cheers
