Hi Ran,

I do not have the lens, however the price on the link that you cited - £574.95 appears to be high - that is about $1000 in US Dollars. Doing a search on the web had the lens described as a good entry level lens - if that is your desire, then the kit lens, the 18-55 would be much better at a much lower price and is a bit faster, and is an excellent lens for the money. Many here like it very much. Is there a particular reason why your looking at this lens?

If your looking for quality you can take a look at the 16-45 f4 or the 16-50 f2.8 that just came out.

You did not indicate what camera body you have - digital or film. Of course if your using film, the DA lenses above would not work and you would want a full frame lens. It is just that £574.95 is a pretty steep price to pay. Also its no longer in production.

You can order the lens here - for $170 or about £85 even with shipping and VAT you would come out ahead.

Hope that helps....

Thanx all. The reason i asked was,i was looking to buy one for wide angle work on my K10. Ive now bought one for £50 through ebay, its brand new and in mint condition. I have the 18-55 kit lens and like it but dont love it if you see what i mean, way too much vignetting at 18mm. The 18-35 is far better at the short end in that respect. Ive yet to put it through its paces yet,and im looking forward to doing so!
