You answered your own question there Roy....No one!!! Not in their right mind anyway....The only way I would do it is if I suddenly became blind or a quadra-plegic.

Hi Roy,

Not really crazy, I can pretty much understand where he's coming from. Soon after getting my DS, I decided to pass on M, K, and screw mount lenses, much preferring the ability to use exposure automation, so I have only "A" type MF or AF lenses, except for a couple of pretty run of the mill M42s that I bought for $10 apiece so I'd have something more than the kit lens to work with at first. This works well for me (a lot less confusion for the easily confused :-) -- in the heat of the moment), and it looks like the seller has made a similar decision.

I would have kept all the flashes tho. . . especially the ring flash, and would be looking for a deal on a D or DS body to use them with in TTL mode, which would be cheaper than getting a new P-TTL gun and replacing the ring flash when a P-TTL model becomes available (dedicated TTL-metered ring flashes are enormously expensive).

It sounds like he's got a large lens collection and is selling off only some of them (for instance he said he was selling off the 24mm but keeping a 28mm), selling the 50mm f2 but keeping a 50mm 1.7. Sounds like he knows what he's doing.

Holy moly, that's a nice collection!

I can't believe he's getting rid of that 100mm macro while getting a K10D.

And please, someone get that Tamron 60-300mm. The lens is good and the KA mount adapter makes it great.
