Hi,
This morning I played w my "new" old Tamron SP 500 mirror lens to take some flowers on my backyard house. All pictures were taken hand held. I tried to isolate most of these object to its background so I can minimize its "halo" background effect to get acceptable creamy background. Focusing w this mirror lens is not easy, many of my pictures are blur although I've replaced my standard focus screen w generic split focus screen. Its right this lens only have fixed aperture at 8 & the weather is so cloudy. Here are selected samples picture in reduced size, hope all you could give me feedback for better improvement.
Best regards,
RTogog

That's pretty impressive, for a mirror lens! Looks like something that could be quite useful, and you seem to have a good idea how to use it to good effect.

All picture are taken at max closed (1,7 m). I only do a bit processing on PS, reduced theirsize, aplied some amount of levelling to increase contrast. Some pictures need deeper processing w Balance & Contrast filter.
