I attached my SP 300 f2.8 and did a little stargazing on my deck this evening - it's been unusually warm here, even for Arizona.

This is pretty much how it looks through binoculars:

Yes indeed - my hands aren't that steady!

Next time the clouds clear, I'll try piggybacking on my astronomical telescope and remove those star trails.

It's a very neat comet and well worth a look.

here's a couple of the moon shot with the same lens, handheld. i can't remember if i had the 140f 1.4x TC on it. the tammy300/2.8 is a fine lens.
