To all my dear Pentax owners, fans & lovers!

Today thanks that here in Terra Santa...Pentax is an a NON popularly camera brand...I was extremely lucky to "Grasp" as you can see at my two attached below photos..a Super mint conditions film body + ultimately important this amazing Non Ultra Plus Super Mint prime manual focus normal 50mm SMC-A lens.:G

From my ample filters collection I found an a today extremely scarce "Ghostless" originally Pentax Skylight 49 size, that once during 1968 I acquired with my first SLR Pentax a SP-2, same was the lens hood..for a 100mm lens...but for be use today with my lovely K10D...suits 100%.

Both items + the instructions for the body + a bag...I paid $:40.00.

More details concerning the lens...will be extremely useful & appreciated!:?

Thanks so much, soon I will post really photos with this got it lens...!

Peace,

Alex 007:|

So...can't wait more...for so before I will go to sleep...decided to try the "SV" setting the camera selected 800 ISO...& here is my first "hand holding"...at maximum wide open 1,4 at 0.45cm maximum close range that provide the lens.

Yes I made exactly white balance trough my Picasa photo organizer. it's possible to notice the "Noise/Grain"...at the right side of the photo! :P

Any constructive inputs as always welcomed!

Peace,

great purchase alex....
i've seen the A50/1.4 go for over $150usd on ebay.. it's a sweet lens.. didn't you tell me you got both for 40usd?? if so, then the police should be putting the manacles on you about now..

now you need to resell the body to refund your ebay account..

Very nice buy Alex...I'm with Roy...It might be a legal steal but it is a steal of a deal. I just got the M version on Ebay with a broken camera for $21.01 and shipping...Hope mine does as well as yours.

Hi Dawg & Roy,

Nothing to do with eBay...the seller is an local one...who live here & advertise with the posting fees that price...so what I do wrong...that both of with "Humor' want to send me the FBI...!

It's possible that I will do as Roy advise me to sell the body for cover the price of the lens...till...till...I will found here a "Auto Focus" one!

I make a "Bokeh" test hand held inside my dinner room, at wide open 1,4...here is the result! Yes to be sincerely after some lightly Picasa PP!:-)

Peace,
