I just learned that I will be a grandfather next year. I have a K10d and will need a low light portrait lens. I'm considering the Sigma 70mm f/2.8 Macro. Does anyone have any experience with this lens? Any other suggestions? Please help. Thanks.

I use the Kit lens a lot with my Grandkids..(I have 11 with a great grandkid due any day now) ..It is fairly fast and has the wide angle and zoom range needed for mobile youngsters...On the Low Light side the one you are looking at is fairly nice but the 50mm f1.7's and f/1.4 Pentax lens are a bit faster.
