Hi Alex,

This is a nice picture! I played a little with it in PSP11.02 using my style of editing. I hope you don't mind and like the result.

Rudy

alex,
no offense meant but all these except those on this page have way too much noise.. all on this page are shot at iso100 .. why is this?? i haven't seen it in other k10d shots.. usually it's from too much PP at higher ISOs

Hello my dear Roy,

Yes it'a true...I also noticed that are relativly "grainy"...I thing, because a few issues...heavily cropped...trough my lovely software PSP-9.01 many times (2-3 times!) I do "Clarify" action after so "Sharpening More" at least 2 times, red border issue + trough another photo program named "FrameFun" the "Gray" frame.

So all that make look very "Highly Iso" shoot final results...:?

It's possible that my "Specific" Sigma lens example it's not 100% sharp as others...some "Kind"...of Lemon...one:?

Almost...forgot...I set instead "Normal" to "Bright" the camera, which add camera setting to maximum "Sharpness"...& all the other two to "Minimum"...setting. So ALL TOGETHER...makes my last photos "Extremely Noisy/grainy for 100 Iso"!

What you conceive?

Peace,

Alex 007:|

Hi Alex,

I clarify before using sharpening. I also use high pass sharpening. I always shaprpen last when editing.

It is not the lens. It is in your editing style. Keep experimenting. Too much editing or sharpening can add noise to the picture.

Hi deat Rudy,

I do the "Sharpening" issue ALWAYS at the last just before I add any color border & copy back to my Picasa photo organizer. After that I really don't cope yet with all the facilities of this amazing PSP-9.01 photo program I download a FREE one named "FrameFun" for add the "Frame" after the borders...which 90% I use the black ones in this case decided to use the Red one.

Among us I download the Instruction manual for the PSP-9 photo software it's inside my hard disc...but at my age (64), don't have today patience for read from my Sony LCD computer monitor...trough PDF more of 500 pages. For my natal day my Son want to buy for a copy of the whole PSP-9 user manual...so with a magnifier I will able to read it away from looking trough my computer monitor. But till such natal day...what I comprehend till now of this lovely PSP-9 program satisfies me.:?

Thanks a lot for your advise, Rudy!

Peace,

Alex 007:|
