been wanting one of these for a long time(at my price)..here's some test shots in macro. lens is a constant f3.5 and the close up mode is available thru out the range.

how do these show?? i'm using a flatpanel and it's not calibrated

They look fine here.

That is sharp at 105mm f3.5!

This one has quite a reputation. Happy new lens day!

I have had a, bought new, Pentax 35-105 A, f3.5 since around '84. It is an excellent lens and one of the reasons I got a K10D, so I could continue to use this fine lens.
