I have the 200mm, nice lens. Like it. With the C size{23.4x15.6mm} sensor you have a 1.5x already. So that takes the 200mm to 300mmF2.8 when fitted to the K20D or my K10D. Opposed to a full frame sensor at 36x24mm.

Add another 1x5 Kenko TC and it will take it out to 450mm at F4.

Should it not. ?

buy the 200 & the converter, if your happy we will think we're clever, and if it's no good it'll stop us making the same mistake:lol:

I shoot lots of small birds and 200mm with a TC is not good enough. I do get very good photos with a 300mm f5.6 and a 1.4 TC. If you are shooting in bright enough light the 300mm and a good TC would be Ideal. Just one ole man's opine!
