24mm at f/5.6. Focus was on the water grasses closer to the camera:

Caladium plant at f/2.8, 37mm focal length, ISO 400. This is a crop representing 15-20% of the full image:

I am happy with this lens and I am looking forward to giving it a good wringing out under better conditions. The thing that I am most impressed with is the wide open performance. Many of my lens I don't use wide open because the image suffers too much. I would consider the 24-60mm very usable at f/2.8. I know that Daniel has also posted some good images with this lens and I would say that it, along with the FA 50mm 1.4, seem to be among the K-mount bargains right now.

Looks like a pretty good lens, especially for what it's selling at. I know what you mean about some lenses being really soft when shot wide open. Can't wait to see what you think about the fisheye, too.

Tim,

Thanks for all the examples from the 24-60mm. I really appreciate your trouble.

My hesitation to buy one from Cameta has been it just seems too good to be true at $200. I've read about bad copies of Sigma lenses from time to time (FF, BF, etc.) At $200 I was wondering if Cameta had a collection of all the bad ones, but yours definitely looks like a keeper.

Now maybe you and I can work out a quantity discount with a divorce lawyer.
