Here's a question, whats worse than not having a brand new DA*300 f4 lens?

HAVING A NEW DA* 300 F4 LENS AND NOT BEING ABLE TO LOOK AT THE IMAGES !!

thats what happens when the day after you take your first card full of images with your new lens and you hard drive in your computer dies.

AHHHHH

May I suggest Pedro Almodovar's movie "What have I done to deserve this" as a pasttime while you wait for your computer to be fixed or replaced?

Having been there myself the first part of June, I can feel for you. At least these days hard drives and/or computers have gone down to where they're far less expensive than a good lens.

A good reminder that I really need to burn a couple of DVDs. The same thing happened to me about a year ago. I feel your pain!

Thanks all,
I hope to have by lovely macbook back next week. I'll have to shoot jpegs for a while as that's the only format my old hardware can read.

I do not know how big the city of Frankston is. But in my city , a lot of local drug stores, Walmart, Costco .....have those media print out machine with which you can view first before printing it out. Go over there and you can choose which is to be viewed and printed.
Take your time. Your comp problem will be sorted out quick and we look forward to seeing your posting/images.
