Nope. Since I mainly use prime lenses I change all the time. But the lenses I think give me the best price/performance ratio are the FA 35 mm 2.0 and the FA 50 mm 1.4. I use them a lot and find that they can both compete with much more expensive lenses in the A*-series.

- Pentax A 50/1.7
- Vivitar 28-105/2.8-3.8
- Pentax K 135/2.5
- Kiron 70-200/4

is what I mostly carry around in my photo bag and thus might be what you are asking for.

Reserved places in my bag:
- 90mm+ 1:1 macro lense (Viv 90mm incoming, maybe it's the one)
- a wide angle lense, not sure which one, might even try a fish-eye. Something around or better below 20mm.

If I had to choose just one lens I'd probably go for the A 50/1.7

When my camera (*ist DS) is in its box it has the 18-55 kit lens mounted. Most of the time when I am out walking around it has the Sigma APO f400 5.6 mounted with it on my 'foto sniper' bracket, my walks are usually along the riverside in the hope that one day I will see something more interesting than skungy seagulls and city pigeons.

I often have the DA*50-135 mounted on the camera because its such a versatile lens. However, it's not really my favorite lens. My favorite lens at the moment is the 77 Ltd, followed closely by the viv 105 macro (I love macro and close-up) and the A*300. The only other lens that lives in my camera bag full time is the DA 12-24, which I have a love-hate relationship with (and in fact, I was shooting with it yesterday).

Very quickly, the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 DG Macro HSM II is becoming my favorite, but I use two or three lenses extensively....the Bigma because I shoot so many birds and the DA*50-135 for general purpose uses.

Short lenses I use extensively are the Pentax FA 50mm f1.4 and the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 I bought to replace my stolen kit lens.

Hmmm, what goes in the bag does depend somewhat on what I anticipate shooting. I would have to put the Kiron 105mm macro at the top of the list, since it goes anywhere the camera goes. Every expedition has the potential for macro. The Sigma 24-60mm f/2.8 is my current walk around lens and I have been very happy with it on the K20d. Other favorites include the FA 50mm f/1.4, F 50mm f/1.7, and Tamron 180mm f/2.5. If I anticipate shooting long telephoto, I use the Tokina 100-300 f/4 AT-X manual focus lens most often.

In my small walking around camera bag I usualy have the following:

Tamron Adaptall SP 28-80 3.5-4.2 (usually this is the one on the camera)

Sigma 18-125 (for the wide angle)

Super Takuma 28mm f3.5

Vivitar 135mm f2.8

Vivitar Series 1 200mm f2.3

if I have a specific purpose or large job then I may take different or more lenses and take the big bag.

If it is outdoor sport then I would pack the Sigma 135-400 first.
