You would have to point that one out. I'm SO broke, that's way too big of a lens for me, but I'd sure like to own one. What's the going rate for something like this now?

i'd say whatever it brings.. i'd never post as an open auction..

THIS is more my standing in life.. problem is my better half would see to it that i wouldn't need the SSA money.."you would also have to invest for an adapter for it, $100+/-

Still out of my price range. By the way, what's the crop on a 67 lens? I would guess your field of view would be even "longer" than with a 35mm lens? I didn't exactly say that right, but you'll know what I mean.

Nah, the "crop factor" will be the same, but the wasted image circle hitting the sides of the mirror box and not the sensor will be larger.

If I had the money to buy this lens (FA* 600mm f4) I'd rather buy the A*200mm Macro and the A/F/FA*300 mm lenses. Since this 600mm f4 reputedly is too soft to use wide open, the A* f5.6 lens is just as good but half the weight. If I could afford all and any I'd buy it and put it on display in a glass cupboard, and still use the f5.6 lens. The f4 I'd take out of the cupboard once in a while, hug it and put it back. Or maybe hire that sherpa.:-)
