At a cost of $4.99 and shipping at $10.00 this less than $15 dollar lens is a good performer. I added the Sigma EX DG APO 1.4X TC and took off for the Town Duck Pond. This is a T4 lens but my TX screw mount lens mount adapter fits and works quiet well. Very sharp at wide open aperture and very smooth bokeh. I'll do more shots and post them later along with a shot of the lens itself. Comments are welcome.

It's amazing how you can get a really nice lens for little, especially if they take adaptors and the like. This one looks very nice!

Thank you Harriet. I now have a 55-135, a 200mm, a 300mm and soon a 400mm of these. They were made by Tokina for Vivitar and right now are very inexpensive to buy. The PK adapter I bought cost much more than a lens and they are scarse as Hen's Teeth.

i've been telling you guys about this lens for a couple of years.. it can be found in K mount also. i've had 8 of them, 2 were K mount.. the most i've paid for one w/delivery was $22.. the copy i have now looks like it just came out of the box w/hard case.. as you see it also works great with TCs. it also works grandly with ETs.. this is the same lens wide open..

dawg, if yours was made by tokina it would be the first time i've seen one that wasn't made by komine(28xxxxx) serial #..
ck it if you will..

Roy..The fixed mount Vivitars were made by Komine. These are the TX and T4 interchangeable mount lenses and they were all made by Tokina. I plan on getting one of the 200mm's and one of the 135mm fixed mount ones later. I just want a good collection of the T4's and TX's before they disappear. The fixed mount ones are abundant at the present. Am now looking for more P/K lensmount adapters for the TX's.
