Hi Dawg. Looks like good colour and contrast. How does it compare to the Vivitar 200mm?

Cheers

BB2..It is about half the size and half the weight but is also a lot slower than the Vivitar. Being a preset also slows down the process as it takes a good bit longer to set the shot up. I've found though that a lot of practice actually gets the process a lot closer to the same speed. This lens has about the same CA as the Vivitar when shooting towards a bright light source and the color rendition is almost identical as well as the bokeh. The Vivitar allows you to shoot much closer on closeups. This is not a close focus lens.

She hasn't cut the bid finger yet but has asked me to promise not to get more than one per month or not more than 60 dollars a month which ever comes first. I promised so I can't back out of it now. I like both the M200 and the viv 200's. The M200 handles the CA a little better but the Viv 200's are just a touch sharper. Both do well though.
