Default Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 Preset F-stop comparison

All photos shot in AV or aperture priority mode from the same distance using a tripod and shooting with mirror lock up and timer. All were shot at ISO 400 with in-camera settings of my K10D set at saturation =0, Sharpness =+2, Contrast=+1.

F/2.8, 1/500 sec.




F/4, 1/180 sec.




F/5.6, 1/90 sec.




F/8, 1/60 sec.




F/11, 1/45 sec.




F/16, 1/30 sec.

I love it Roy. It has a certain glow to the photos. I really can't describe it but even though the photos I take with it are not razor sharp, they have a kind of patina to them I don't get with today's all auto lenses.
